Tahqamaniun Falls

This was my second destination for labor day weekend. We camped on saturday(Aug 30th) in New Berry KOA and had camp fire till late night. So on Sunday we wole up late and went to tahqamaniun falls ehich was some 30mins away from our camp site.Tahqamaniun Falls has two major water falls .One is upper which is bigger and the other one is lower. we went to upper water falls. water has this brown color because of foliage . It was beautiful sight to see. Fall already started there. Though not striking ,you can see fall colors here and there. We spent around 2hrs in falls and left to Pictured Rocks national park in munising MI.

For labour day weekend my friends visited me in Michigan. Frankly I was afraid of hosting them as they were coming here expecting of some sight seeing and relaxation. Though Michigan is full of state parks, it caters only to particular sect of people who enjoy nature. Luckily for me, my friends are very fond of nature. Pictured Rocks was our last destination(Irony is this is the first thing I am writing about) . I was told that sunset boat cruise for pictured rocks is worth going and it will be in demand(http://picturedrocks.com/Home.php). So I called Cruise company and reserved slots for sunset cruise. As told three boats were leaving at the same time for sunset cruise of pictured Rocks in Lake superior. It was about 3 hrs cruise and its worth more than the money. Pictured Rocks are to be seen to be enjoyed not to be read.I am giving few glimpses of them though.
